Not the usual pix of derring do on the rock, (although Big Man led a severe and Scouse led a V Diff, both with style and aplomb)

This tale begins in Buttermere ... Si Fly has 700,000 metric tonnes of peanuts in the warehouse ... just how many peanuts is that ??

Your average bag of peanuts in the pub is 50g, so ...
1 Kilo contains 1,000 / 50 bags
1 Kilo = 20 bags

1,000 Kilos in a metric tonne
20 x 1,000 = 20,000 bags in a metric tonne

So the number of bags in the warehouse
= 20,000 x 700,000 = 14,000,000,000 bags

So how many nuts in a bag ?

so we count ...
how many 10's is that Mosski ?
85 whole peanuts in a 50g bag

So, there are 14,000,000,000 x 85 wholepeanuts in the warehouse

= 1,190,000,000,000 peanuts
Brought to you by climbing and drinking beer afterwards :)
