2007 December, Santa Anna, El Salvador

We dont ride after dark anyway, but El Salvador is strictly a no go after dark ... in Santa Anna even locals shut up shop by 7pm although we pushed the boundary by eating late until 9pm :)

	We check the safety situation with the local police ...
	& approx 10km from Santa Anna we visit the Tamazul, the main Mayan site in El Salvador, first excavated by Dr Boggs
	A pleasant run and our last Mayan site
	Back in town we avoid the over friendly local offering food & transport
	Riding during the day the only issues we have are military checkpoints, several per day
	all friendly & talk about the bike & Liverpool FC :)
