Then we get a chance to practise our snow wall building skills, as rather fortunately the wind is gusting at 100mph |

so after a night listening to the poetry of the gusts of wind as it played with the flysheet (and not from Danny this time), we "woke" to find that at least the weather forecast was sporting ... |

Fortunately we got to practise our snow wall building again, as the rain had worn away the wall |

Then we had a sumpuous feast of a muesli bar for breakfast before seizing our opportunity to climb ... |

Then we get to practise our night nav skills as we hunt for the tent in the dark ... |

Much to our disappointment, after only 1 hour in the blizzard we locate the tent ... |
Danny pops on a bru whilst Scouse rebuilds the wall for fun ... |
Scouse's 1st, inbetween & last course meal of Earl Grey is well received |

Whilst Danny is tucking into his 7th course, we learn about spindrift ... |

and find that it's built it's own snowman out of our boots, how amusing :) |

after checking his watch every 30mins to verify that it's not making that damp, chattering sound, Scouse is happy to see the morning |

Danny is a little slower to emerge as he is suffering from heat exhaustion & over eating |

Admiring glances from the rare passer by in the blizzard, wanting to know where our carer was ... |

Reluctantly we leave our cosy nest & head for the big lights of Aviemore and the trappings of warmth, shelter, food & drink |
