Nuevo Laredo : we get a little confused in the heat ... turns out we are fugitives from the US by not stamping out ...

After several days of blindingly hot sun & mobile sauna, we get the message & set off early without breakfast ... |

At 1550m 8am in the shade we understand why locals travel a little later ... it's <expletive> freezin! So we stop at the first transport cafe in the sun to warm up ... |

We tuck into huevos rancheros (scrambled eggs with stuff), refried beans & tortillas ... |
& as our eyes water & throats constrict, we realise that it would have been better to wear the food than eat it due to the nature of the covert jalapenos ... aside from the Little Thief prices, we'll pay for that later |

Shaken not stirred, we retreat from visiting Real de Catorce due to the bone shaking road ... we'll pay for that later too! |
